We were lucky enough to see Santa several times this Christmas and each time we feel it necessary to torment the kids by forcing them to sit on his lap. Cannon was not about to go anywhere near the guy, but finally settled down to take a picture once he realized there were treats involved.
Logan is still pretty wary when it comes to Santa so at the church party decided that he would take his picture standing about 10 feet away from him on the gym floor instead of next to him on the stage.
Jaden has always loved Santa and still does.
At Logan's preschool Santa came to visit the kids and give them a present. Logan thought about it for a long time. He really wanted the present but he really didn't want to have to go get it from him. Finally after all the other kids went he found his courage and stood by Santa (not quite ready to sit on his lap yet).
Another time tormenting Cannon! Aren't these pictures priceless?!
We were extra lucky to have Santa drop by at visit when we were all at Grandpa and Grandma Hatfield's house. By now Logan was feeling really brave and not only sat on his lap but also performed a little musical number with him!
