When we bought this house a few years ago we had no idea how much work we would actually put into it. There seems to always be a project going on and other projects that are put on the waiting list. We have had these two dying birch trees in our front yard and for a long time we chose to ignore the fact that they were dying. After a few too many mornings waking up to LARGE branches in the yard after a strong wind we decided it was better to pay someone to cut them down rather than risk them blowing over on our house! Jaden was at school so he missed out on all the action but the other boys and I spent the day watching those two trees disappear. We surprisingly didn't miss them once they were gone...now to figure out what to do with the two new holes in the yard?
