January

January has been both extremely busy and long. We are heading out for Hawaii tomorrow so it seems like the month has dragged on waiting for the trip to come. Scott is in the process of opening his own office (with Edward Jones) which should open about a week after we get back. He has been using office space at another financial advisors office and he is very much looking forward to getting out on his own.
In other exciting news for Scott he turned 29 earlier this month!

Jaden was invited to a princess/knight birthday party last week. He had a blast and has been slaying dragons all week.

Scott and I had a couple of meetings last week which got Jaden to thinking that they never have kid's meetings. He really wanted me to invite his cousins and friends over for the "children only meeting." Since he came up with the idea late in the day the only ones attendance was himself and Logan. Jaden got himself and Logan all dressed up in their church clothes and pulled a chair into his room for Logan to sit on. He got out a Friend magazine and gave a really nice lesson.

Jaden made sure that they had time to color a picture before the meeting was over.

Happy Birthday Scott! Jaden's meeting is so funny. When he's older and actually has to go to meetings, he'll wish he could stay home. Children have so much to learn!

I love Jaden's meeting - of course no kids' meeting would be complete without something to color! Happy Birthday, Scott!
