We headed over to Idaho the first part of December to visit Scott's family. Scott's little brother was blessing his baby so we were lucky to be able to see all of his siblings and their families at once. The boys were great travelers and very excited to get to Grandma and Grandpa's house. We got to their house on a Friday afternoon and then on Saturday we drove up to Rexburg where the baby blessing was going to be. Scott's parents had rented a house for us all to stay in that night. The place was perfect for the kids with toys and play areas all over. The favorite was the bike room, it was so nice for the kids to have a place to run around.
They had several bikes and scooters there, but Jaden always seemed to be drawn to the pink bike with the pink helmet. Not sure what to think about that one.
Lined up for a big race
Looks like Dallin won by a landslide
While we in Preston Scott took the boys outside to shovel the snow. Jaden loves the snow and never seems to mind the cold, but Logan had a hard time out there. He wouldn't keep his gloves on so his hands were freezing and after only about 5 minutes he gave up and cam inside. He kept saying over and over "I really, really cold". This is a picture of Scott trying to help warm him up.
We also were able to help Scott's family go cut down their tree this year. Again Jaden loved being outside in the snow and Logan cried most of the time. If was a quick trip to Idaho but well worth it!
A few days ago I watched my friend's baby for her. The boys loved her! They kept bringing her all sorts of toys and dancing around for her. It was reassuring to me to see how well Logan did with a baby around since we will be adding to our family this next summer!
Christmas is in full force at our house right now. It's so fun to see the boys enjoying all the magic of Christmas.
The kids got to see Santa this year. Jaden told him that he wanted "everything". Up until that day he was telling everyone that he wanted a unicycle. That morning Scott showed Jaden a unicycle at a bike shop and he changed him mind about it once he found out they didn't have handles.
Poor little Logan we forced him to take a picture with Santa.

That's a great story about the unicycle & no handle bars! I love your Christmas tree. It looks great. We've had ours since Dec. 5th but Derek just barely put the lights on it yesterday! Have a fun time :)
Congratulations on your arrival! That information is sandwiched in there and you can hardly tell you were making an announcement!! We are excited for Grandbaby #12.
Yeah seriously! There at least needed to be some more exclamation points or something! :)
That house is even cooler than you described. How fun!
Thank goodness the unicycle is out.
Jaden would love to play in Mackayla's room with her. Everything she owns is pink.
Your tree looks great. Even all your wrapping paper is all color coordinated.
Looks like a great trip to see the Holts. Glad you had fun.
Yay for baby #3! I had a feeling that might be coming soon. :) Very sneaky announcement though!
It looks and seems like you had a fun time In Idaho. The house seemed great for the kids. Logan looked so cute sleeping with his Dad!
What an awesome house to stay in - Meagan is already plotting where we could possibly put a hole in our ceiling for a slide. We are excited to get a new cousin this summer!
COngrats on expecting! I love how you slip that little bit of information in there!
